A street named after comedian A Y in Lekki

Ace comedian, filmmaker and actor, Ayo Makun (aka AY) just had a street named after him. The street is in Richmond Gate Estate, Lekki built by Haven Homes and where he currently lives. The excited entertainer took to his social media page https://www.instagram.com/p/BUBOY7clymf/  to share the good news where he also posted an amazing video of the beautiful estate.
He wrote;

‘‘I have seen streets in our cities been named after many famous people from politics, to sports, and to other people who served or contributed to the social cultural development of our country in one way or the other. But I never knew that a day would come where I would be ‘famous’ enough to have a street named in my honour. As I say a big thank you to the management of Haven Homes, I just want to use this same opportunity to charge lovers and followers of the AY brand up a little. My prayer is for every one of you to be remembered and celebrated for something. Get off that bed this morning and infuse your life with action. Don’t wait for it to happen. Make it happen. Make your own future. Make your own hope. Make your own love. And whatever your beliefs,  honour your creator, not by passively waiting for grace to come down from upon high, but by doing what you can to make grace happen…”

Segun Arinze’s daughter blast him on Instagram.

Nollywood actor Segun Arinze’s 20-year-old daughter Renny lashed out at him after he wished her a happy birthday online earlier today.
Renny, who is his daughter with actress Anne Njemanze, his first wife, was apparently angry that he posted his message on Instagram instead of calling her on the phone. He has since taken down the post.

“Wow! Time sure does fly! My Daughter Renny is 20!!” the actor wrote. “I wish you great wisdom, good health, long life, deep knowledge and whatever you lay your hands on will prosper. You will be a role model to your peers. Ann God bless you for doing a great job! Happy Birthday Renny.”

It’s apparent father and daughter don’t get along because Renny immediately blasted him in the comment section.
“What’s the meaning of this Sir? You didn’t tag me, you don’t know my IG handle either. You’ve tagged other people and bloggers and you didn’t even have the courtesy to call me to wish me a happy birthday and you’re doing this online? What a pity. I would overly appreciate it if you stopped this. God bless.”
She also criticized him for spelling her mother’s name as ‘Ann’ instead of ‘Anne’
“One more thing sir, my mother’s name is spelt “Anne” not Ann. Stop being the rain on my parade and stop spreading lies. I have never insulted you. STOP THESE LIES”

Regina Askia drilled by US immigration officers.

In a post on Facebook hours ago, ex-beauty queen and former Nollywood actress turned U.S based nurse, Regina Askia-Williams, wrote;
“15 years in America as a green card holder, i never felt any type of pressure to change status, all these years until Trump came. I always thought the blue passport was not necessary afterall i was still nursing big political ambitions for Nigeria.

I never cared for the inconvenience of being separated from the rest of my family who are all Americans to boot, ( except Stephy who is French) when ever we had to pass through immigrations on our many travels. And then Trump and his extreme vetting policies which by the way folks is no joke.

“Questions like forsaking all royalty and titles, will you bear arms for the country, when and why did your name change from Imaobong to Regina, have you ever been arrested, do you have any criminal records, do you owe money under a different name, when did you first come into America, when and where did you get married, how many times have you been married, what was your entry point into the country ( to ensure I did not float over on a log or scurry over in a tunnel). Why does your adopted daughter have the same name as you ( africans know its a thing of honor to have a child named after you), what is your source of income, what outstanding fees do you owe ( at this point my heart flutters, maybe Great Lakes has told them things about school loans). I was surprised they didn’t ask if I was born female. Anyway after all said and done….. I got a handshake and walked out of there as…………”

Why am i still single? discover 9 reason why you seem to be alone.

Have you ever asked yourself the question: “why am I alone?” Well, to answer that, I’ve listed 9 types of guys who seem to always be alone. Are you one of them?

The One with the Fear of Rejection

You desperately want to date but the fear you might be rejected, paralyzes you. You imagine the woman laughing at you or telling the entire room that you tried to hit on her.

You have to realize two things:

You are going to get rejected. Everyone does at one point or another.

Getting rejected doesn’t say anything about you, your character or your value.

Don’t throw in the towel after a rejection. You have to keep trying. Eventually you’ll meet that one girl that likes the way you look and the way you talk.

Now, if you try hitting on women a lot and you get rejected every time, then, maybe, it’s time to get some advice on what you’re doing wrong (from friends, family or experts) but don’t ever get discouraged.

The One who doesn’t Take Action

You sit behind the computer all day. You watch. You read. You learn. You look. You listen but you never take action.

You have your reasons, I’m sure (you’re insecure, inexperienced and afraid, you don’t like the way you look etc.) but they only perpetuate the situation.

Start taking action now. Hang out with friends and meet people in a bar, in the cinema, Walk up to women in the supermarket, in the bank, on the street and talk to them. Have casual conversations on random subjects, with no purpose but to get out there and experience.

The next step would be to ask someone on a date.

You’ll get there.

Take action. Talk to women. Your confidence will boost. You’ll get comfortable. Conversations will flow. Women will respond to you.

Good luck.

The One who is still Hung Up on His Ex:

(“Why can’t she be more like my ex?”)

Even though it’s natural to think about your ex and to sneak a look at her Facebook profile, it’s a different story if you still do those things two years after the break up.

You idealize the relationship because you felt something really strong or because she rejected you, and you put all your efforts in trying to get back together with her.

Every new girl is there just to pass the time or gets compared to the ex. Every new relationship has no chance of succeeding.

And the sad thing is that you can wake up one day and realize you missed out on a chance to be with a wonderful girl just because you were too hung up on your ex to notice.

The Perfectionist

You look for the perfect woman and tend to break up relationships over insignificant things.

You never feel complete in a relationship and always have the feeling that there is something better out there for you.

You have very high demands from yourself and your girlfriend and zero tolerance for any behavior, appearance or expression that doesn’t meet your expectations.

You tend to, sometimes, ignore your girlfriend’s needs in favor of what you think is best but expect her to always be attentive and sensitive to your needs.

You need to realize that “You’re not perfect, And let me save you the suspense. This girl you met, she isn’t perfect either. But the question is: whether or not you’re perfect for each other, it could be worked on.

The egocentric

If you have egocentric Personality Disorder you appear at first to be the best boyfriend ever. You act successful; people around you admire you, you make big romantic promises, and act jealous, which your significant other finds flattering.

After the cloud of infatuation clears, though, she discovers that the jealousy has become a major factor in the relationship and is followed by criticizing her clothes and behavior, limitations on her social life, interrogations and lack of space.

The One who is too Nice

It’s’ okay to be nice but only in moderation. If you’re like ‘you want your phone? Do you need me to dial for you? What else can I get for you? You’re too tired? I can carry you to the car.’ She will run! Play hard to get. Let her do stuff for you. Show her that you have other options.

The One with the Anxiety Issues

You’re not an easy guy to be with because you bring with you to the relationship all of your anxieties and tensions and create a reality where both of you always walk on eggshells. Every aspiration for change shifts your relationship out of balance. You have a hard time committing to a decision and the fear of rejection, the fear of making a catastrophic mistake makes it very hard to find and keep a partner. Because once you do find one, they bolt after they realize that the relationship is stuck with no chance of change in the foreseeable future.

The One with the Borderline Personality Disorder

When the relationship with your significant other goes well, you shower her with attention and adoration, but when it doesn’t hold up to your expectations, your self-confident is shattered and you manifest your hurt by hurting her verbally or physically, abusing her emotionally, and even by threatening to hurt her or yourself. You link your self-worth to the relationship and the fear of abandonment tends to try and keep her with you by saying things like “I’ll kill myself if you leave”.

The One with the Avoidance Issues

You could be very successful and still be alone because you have a pattern of avoidance which interferes with your ability to hit on women and have a relationship. Even when you do find a relationship, you still find it hard to reveal yourself, your emotions and thoughts and you end up pushing your girlfriend away.

I used to be the one who doesn’t take action. What type are you??

How to have a sexy weekend

Five days with a busy schedule of work, a week of trying to cope up with all the stress and demand of your job and just two days of relaxing, and yet you still find yourself unable to enjoy your weekend. Almost everyone suffers with the same problem; two days is just not enough to accomplish what we want to do. Well here are some tips that could set up a healthy weekend which will definitely fire you up for the week’s load of work.

1. Plan ahead of time- during your busy work, set a time where you could plan what you will do when the week ended. Whether you want to spend it with your family and friends. Do stuff together or do it alone. You have to remember that you only have two days; you might as well manage your time well so you could eventually do the things that you miss out doing because of your busy schedule.

2. Never mix business with pleasure – it is already enough that you have spent five days of working. Consider it a treat to yourself that you spend the two days vacation with pure pleasures. Watch movies, play games, go to the mall, go shopping, do whatever you want to do. This is your time, a time given to you for free, enjoy it, savor it for when it ended you may regret not doing what you want to do.

3. Savor every minute of it – You may want to slow down during weekend. A week of running around, doing everything fast, trying not to be late is pretty much exhausting. But during the weekend, keep in mind that you are free. You own your time and if you want to sleep for the whole day might as well do it. You only have at least 48 hours of doing your own things, and every minute of it should be spent the way you want to.

Enjoying the free time given to us is really important. It is the only moment in our life that we would actually live, without someone telling us what to do or doing a task that demands a deadline. Two days might be a short period of time given to us but we might as well appreciate it. Wasting it would be something regretful. We could never go back in time so we have to make sure that our time is well spent.
